IRON OXIDES | SYNTHETIC

 SYNTHETIC IRON OXIDES (NUBIFER)

Highly used pigments in all types of applications due to their chemical and physical characteristics:

KEY BENEFITS AND ATTRIBUTES OF IRON OXIDES
Insoluble in water and organic solvents.
Completely inert in organic and inorganic binders (cement, ceramic compounds, etc.).
Excellent light and weather fastness.
Good alkali resistance.
Excellent hiding strength.
Low cost.
Reds:
 Highly heat resistant (1,470ºF/800ºC)
 used in all polymers

Blacks and Yellows:
 Less resistant (320ºF/160ºC)
 Restricted to PVC & LDPE.

MAIN FIELDS OF APPLICATION OF IRON OXIDES
 Construction Material
 Plastics and Rubber
 Paints and coatings

Cosmetics, animal feed, cigarette filters, pharmaceutical industry ...

Manufacturing pigments with the same shade but different particle size distribution and grinding systems results in a wide range of products that are easy to use in most fields of application.

Type  COLOUR RANGE  DESCRIPTION MAIN FIELDS OF APPLICATION
 Series 5000
 Micronised grade **
Yellows, Reds.
Micronized types, allow an optimal dispersion.
Indicated for high concentrated pastes, paints, plastics, cosmetics.
 Series 4000
 High standard grade
Yellows, Reds, Blacks
Especial reologhical properties due to the homogeneous distribution of the particular size.
Plastics, paints, construction, papers, rubbers, inks, artists’ colours, flooring, etc.
 Series 2000
 Standard grade
Yellows, Reds, Blacks
Well balanced cost/technical requirements types in order to satisfy the more functional applications.
Cements, papers, paints, plastics, rubbers, flooring, etc.

**
Total absence of oversized particles, which lend them excellent dispersion properties and colour consistency. Especially suitable for fast and economical production of paints and masterbatch.
